OVERCOMING

As an Easter Saturday

I wake up to the sunlight

Shining on my face ...

I get up and go to the window,

Blue sky, birds,

Passersby and horns

(After all we are in a city)

I can taste the sea breeze ...

Orange juice

In cup jelly,

The simple things in life ...

Back to the routine!

Look to high

I open a broad smile,

Loose a cry for peace ...
